CONVERSION TRACKING & ATTRIBUTION
Connect successful enquiries to the outcomes that matter.
Conversion tracking should distinguish a click from a successful enquiry, and an enquiry from qualified business. I implement tracking and attribution around the tools your team actually uses.

Build around a meaningful conversion
A submit-button click is not always a successful submission. A thank-you view may be revisited. A low-cost lead may never qualify. The starting point is a shared definition of the outcome, followed by a technical method that captures it reliably.
This work suits service businesses, ecommerce teams and agencies that need a clearer connection between acquisition, website behaviour and business outcomes.
Three connected layers
Successful actions
GA4 and GTM event implementation, advertising conversions and form-success tracking. Events are tested against actual outcomes, including unsuccessful attempts and repeated actions where relevant.
Source and qualification
Campaign naming, UTMs, click-ID capture and CRM-stage mapping. Preserve useful acquisition context and agree what makes an enquiry an MQL, SQL or sales opportunity.
Decision-ready reporting
Connect spend and lead stages to reporting that helps the team assess quality. Offline conversion feedback and revenue connections are scoped around platform support, access and available data.
What implementation includes
The agreed plan defines the journeys, event names, parameters, destinations and acceptance checks. The build is followed by testing and operating notes so another person can understand how the system works.
- Measurement definitions tied to the customer journey.
- Implementation in the agreed website, GTM and platform setup.
- Validation of delivery, duplicates and failure paths.
- Documentation of dependencies, naming and ongoing checks.
It is not a promise that every platform will report identical numbers. Attribution models, consent choices, timing and collection methods can produce legitimate differences. Those differences should be explained rather than hidden.
Start with the tools you already have
Project experience includes GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, HubSpot, WhatConverts, TapClicks and Looker Studio. The exact integration is agreed after reviewing your current setup.
Form-success tracking experience spans SwipePages, Gravity Forms, Unbounce, Elementor Pro, GoHighLevel, Kartra, WPForms and Squarespace. Native platform events are preferred where they provide the needed signal. Embedded forms, iframe boundaries and platform changes require specific validation.
If the current state is unclear, begin with a GA4 and GTM audit. An existing stack is not replaced simply because a different tool is available.
From attribution gaps to useful evidence
At AV Social Strategies, the measurement work connected a $1M+ POSRG contract back to Google Ads. That is an attribution result—not a claim that tracking itself generated the contract.
Kung Pow Marketing used consistent lead-stage definitions to compare Google, Meta and LinkedIn beyond lead volume. Pink Balloon required ecommerce event validation before reopening.
Agencies can explore white-label and collaborative measurement support.
Delivery and boundaries
- Map. Agree the business action, systems, access, consent requirements and success criteria.
- Implement. Build the agreed event and data connections with clear ownership of changes.
- Validate. Follow representative journeys and reconcile captured actions with the receiving systems.
- Handover. Document the setup and the checks needed after future website or platform changes.
Will tracking capture every customer?
No implementation can promise complete visibility. Consent, browser restrictions, cross-device journeys and unavailable CRM data create limits. Those limits should be documented alongside the reporting.
Is ongoing support included?
Ongoing QA, reporting and analysis can be agreed separately. Project scope determines the build and handover; support is not assumed or tied to an invented fixed package.
Let’s look at your measurement setup.
Share the platforms you use, the journey you need to measure and the question your current reporting cannot answer.
