A form submission tells you that someone enquired. It does not tell you whether the enquiry was qualified, became a sales opportunity, or led to revenue.
At AV Social Strategies, campaigns were generating results, but the measurement infrastructure could not reliably demonstrate where those results came from.
Preserve the connection
The work combined consistent campaign tagging, click-ID capture, and HubSpot data to connect the initial Google Ads click with later lead outcomes. The reporting model moved beyond total leads to include MQLs, SQLs, costs at each stage, and revenue.
One outcome was proving that a $1M+ POSRG contract originated from Google Ads. This was an attribution result: demonstrating the connection between marketing activity and an existing business outcome.
Define the stages before reporting them
A useful funnel needs agreed definitions. What makes a lead qualified? What makes it ready for sales? Which CRM fields record those changes?
Without that agreement, a dashboard can put precise numbers against inconsistent meanings.
Ad click → Lead → Qualification → Sale → Revenue
Make the reporting useful
The goal is a clearer view of the business journey. At AV Social, stronger evidence supported more confident conversations about budgets, campaign optimisation, and client results.
Start by finding the point where your own marketing data stops. Then establish which business outcome needs to be connected next.
